If the translator foresees a delay on their part in submitting their work, we ask that they notify the project manager about it as soon as possible so that we can mitigate any possible damages.
Delay
Project delay is a serious issue for us as VILLAM provides its services to its clients with a deadline guarantee. If we cannot deliver the translation on time, not only are we likely to lose the project fee but also the client.
Our PMs set the submission deadline of a translation keeping in mind both the final delivery and the review process as well. For this reason, any tardiness threatens the work of several people. Thus, we treat deadlines with the utmost importance, and if the possibility of delay arises, we immediately begin to take critical measures in response.
MOST IMPORTANTLYPlease avoid any delays, include time safety margins, and provide prompt communication.
In the event of delay, the project manager will immediately seek a solution and request the remaining portion of the work to be translated or reviewed by other colleagues.
Feedback
VILLAM’s colleagues review each and every translation and send the translators feedback, where possible. Our intention is to create transparency and facilitate open communication. We are constantly striving to improve the services we offer. As such, we appreciate any feedback from our translator colleagues.
